Why Paracord is Paw-some for Dog Collars
-
Unmatched strength & durability
Made from nylon kernmantle (Type III “550” rated), paracord was originally used for parachutes and can handle over 550 lb of tension. These collars resist wear, pulling, chewing, and outdoor adventures with ease. -
Waterproof & fade-resistant
Paracord won’t absorb water, rot, or fade even after swims, hikes, or messy play. -
Comfortable & skin‑friendly
Lightweight and supple, paracord lies smoothly against your dog’s fur and skin—no rough edges, no irritation. -
Easy to clean & hypoallergenic
Wipe it down or rinse with water—its smooth surface is less prone to trapping dirt or bacteria compared to fabric collars. -
Endlessly customizable
Choose from various colors, patterns, and braiding styles. Mix hardware options to match your pup's personality or your walk style.
