Rope Hounds builds these from the outer sheath of climbing rope rather than the full core, so the band lies flat against the neck instead of rolling. The result is a 1" collar that holds up to mud, lake water and daily wear without the bulk you'd expect from rope.
Two hardware choices. The lightweight aluminum-and-polymer clasp keeps overall weight down and suits most dogs. The all-metal clasp adds durability for dogs who are hard on gear — it's heavier, which is why it isn't offered in Small.
